What makes YOMYO Matcha a powerful source of antioxidants?
Our Ceremonial grade Matcha is packed with natural compounds called catechins, a type of antioxidant that protects your body from harmful substances and keeps your cells healthy. One of the most potent catechins in matcha is EGCG (epigallocatechin gallate), which is known to help reduce inflammation, improve heart health, and support weight management. Since matcha involves consuming the entire tea leaf rather than just brewing it, it provides significantly more antioxidants than regular green tea. In fact, matcha contains more antioxidants than many superfoods, including spinach and blueberries, making it a powerful addition to a healthy lifestyle.
Do I need to drink Matcha every day?
While drinking Matcha every day isn’t necessary, many people enjoy its benefits when included as a part of their daily routine. Regular consumption can promote sustained energy, focus, and support overall health with its rich antioxidants.
Can I drink more than one serving of Matcha a day?
Yes, you can enjoy more than one serving of Matcha a day. However, be mindful of your caffeine tolerance, as matcha contains a moderate amount of caffeine. Drinking 2-3 servings a day is typically fine for most individuals, but it's best to listen to your body.
What products does Yomyo Matcha replace?
Our Matcha can replace coffee, sugary drinks, and energy drinks. It provides a more balanced and sustained energy boost, making it a great alternative to traditional caffeinated beverages.
How do I know if YOMYO Matcha is right for me?

How to store matcha
Our Matcha tea will be fine for 1 to 2 years (depending on the Harvest and production date if you keep it in the refrigerator. It will stay fresh for a long time if you keep it in the freezer. However, if you keep it in a cool, dark place, the color and taste will change in 3 to 4 months in summer. Also, even if you keep it in the refrigerator, matcha/green tea is prone to absorbing aromas, so please be careful not to store it with strong-smelling items as the odor will transfer to it. For these reasons, the "best before" date printed on the matcha/green tea you purchased is a guideline when stored in a cool, dark place.

Why should I be careful when buying matcha from other brands?
When purchasing matcha, it’s important to be cautious about the quality and origin of the product. Not all matcha is created equal, and some brands may cut corners to offer cheaper options. Here’s why you should be careful:
- Origin of the Matcha: Some matcha on the market comes from regions outside of Japan, such as China, where the growing conditions, processing methods, and standards may not align with the meticulous care and quality control found in Japan. Japanese matcha, especially from regions like Uji, is known for its superior flavor and nutrient content.
- Second or Third Harvest: Matcha harvested during the second or third flush of the season is often lower in quality compared to the first flush (the first harvest). Lower-quality matcha tends to have a more bitter taste and fewer antioxidants. Be cautious, as some brands may use second or third harvest leaves to cut costs.
- Poor Cultivation Practices: Matcha from non-traditional regions or farms may not undergo the same shade-growing process that is critical for producing high-quality matcha. This can result in matcha with lower levels of L-theanine, which affects the flavor, sweetness, and health benefits.
- Low-Quality Processing: Many matcha brands do not invest in high-quality stone grinding, which preserves the delicate flavors and nutrients of the tea. Poor processing techniques can lead to matcha that is dusty, stale, or lacking in vibrancy.
By choosing matcha from trusted brands that prioritize authenticity, quality sourcing, and traditional farming practices, you can ensure that you’re getting the best possible matcha experience. At our company, we carefully select Samidori matcha grown in Japan’s Uji region, guaranteeing that each cup provides the rich flavor, nutrients, and benefits you expect.
